Let’s look at an example (for the 6-Month subscription plan):

 

If at a certain point, the accumulated monthly return since inception of the portfolio is 2.6%, the 6-Month plan will have a subscription fee of 210 USD (equivalent to 35 USD per month). This will be the value charged for all new subscriptions as well as for the subscription renewals.

 

IF THE PORTFOLIO STARTS TO PERFORM WORSE:

If the portfolio starts to perform worse than before and the accumulated monthly return since inception drops to 2.4%, all new 6-Month subscriptions and renewals will be reduced to 180 USD (equivalent to 30 USD per month), according to the pricing scheme above.

 

IF THE PORTFOLIO STARTS TO PERFORM BETTER:
If, on the other hand, the portfolio starts to perform better than before to a point that the accumulated monthly return since inception rises to 3.2%, all new 6-Month subscriptions and renewals will be increased to 240 USD (equivalent to 40 USD per month), according to the pricing scheme above.

1. PURPOSE OF THE REDUCED SUBSCRIPTION PROGRAM (“The Program”):

Some customers wish to see their subscription further reduced. For these Odysseia Capital offers the possibility to open an account at ACY Securities through its Introducing Broker (IB) Link and to benefit from the reduced subscription program (“the Program”) at the value of 7.5 USD per month.

While our customers have full the freedom to chose the broker in which they wish to host their accounts and, as a principle, Odysseia Capital business model is aimed to be fully independent from any affiliation or rebate schemes, it’s also true that some customers prefer to benefit from an extra discount in their subscription costs.

Additionally it can be argued that there is a real advantage to host the Clients’ accounts at the same brokerage where the Master account is trading. For Nexus this would be ACY Securities (ex-SynergyFX).

The customers can then open an account at our partner broker, Odysseia Capital will receive rebates from the partner broker, which in turn will pass through the customer base in the form of subscription discounts.

Bottom line: The program is solely aimed at providing extra optionality to our customers, not as an income stream to Odysseia Capital. This is important to avoid any idea of conflict of interest between Odysseia Capital. The purpose of the program is to be long term income neutral to Odysseia Capital.

2. ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to benefit from the program the customer needs to simultaneously observe the following conditions:

• Open a trading account at the partner broker through the link or banner in this page;

• Select that account to be the one connected to the Odysseia Capital’s service to be subscribed under the program;
  

• Fund and maintain a minimum of 5.000 USD of balance in the trading account mentioned in the previous points;

• Don’t use any system or take any action to reduce position sizes of position sizinh sent directly by the Odysseia Capital’s trading server allocated with the service, which are the same ones sent to all customer base (regardless if they are under the reduced subscrption program or not ) and the position sizes deemed to be the correct ones to achieve the desired and announced benefit/risk ratio.
  

3. RIGHT OF IRREVOCABLE CANCELLATION:

• In case it’s detected that the eligibility rules mentioned above cease to be verified at the customer’s trading account account under the program, Odysseia Capital has the right to cancel the subscribed service under the program immediately;

• As a courtesy, Odysseia Capital might (but must not) inform customers of cancellation with a pre-notice of 5 calendar days (weekdays or weekend);
  

• In case there is more than one month of subscription left, Odysseia Capital will issue a refund, deducting from that value the amount that the customer benefited from through the program, i.e, using for the time of the service consumed the equivalent monthly rate of the subscription with the shortest period available for the service (e.g. for Nexus 3 Months).
  

• It’s not a reason for cancellation if a decay of the balance under the minimum value of 5.000 USD is due to losses resulting from the trading strategy;
  

4. CONFLICT OF INTEREST BETWEEN ODYSSEIA CAPITAL AND THE CUSTOMER UNDER “The Program”

There will be no conflict of interest between Odysseia Capital and any customer under the program. Here’s why:

• All customers are totally free to opt for any broker (provided thy offer the MT4 trading platform) to use Odysseia Capital service;

• No customer will be forced or funneled to any Introducing Broker channel, unless he/she formally decides to benefit from an extra subscription discount, only possible under the Program;
  

• Trading-wise there will no difference whatsoever between customers inside or outside the Program. The trading strategy and the trades that customers will see will be exactly the same whether the customer is benefiting or not from the Program;
  

• Bottom line: The program is solely aimed at providing extra optionality to our customers, not as an income stream to Odysseia Capital. This is important to avoid any idea of conflict of interest between Odysseia Capital;

• The purpose of the program is to be long term income neutral to Odysseia Capital.
  

5. PARTNER RELIABILITY AND LIABILITY OVER PARTNERS

Odysseia Capital will only select partner brokers with a minimum quality, namely brokers that are subject to strong regulation.

In case of ACY securities, the company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Sydney Australia. In 2018 ACY acquired the renowned brokerage house SynergyFx with whom Odysseia Capital has been hosting the Nexus Account since its inception and it has provided a quasi-optimal trading environment for the portfolio.  ACY Securities is regulated and licensed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC AFSL: 403863)

The Australian regulation framework offers the retail trader a strong protection, namely through its Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), and is, according to our own experience, one of the most effective in the world to resolve eventual disputes between retail clients and trading brokers.

Odysseia Capital has no oversight or responsibility whatsoever over ACY Securities’ business, operations on contractual relationships between ACY Securities and its customers, including the Odysseia Capital’s customers who decide to contract one or more brokerage accounts with ACY Securities through Odysseia Capital’s Introducing Broker (IB) link. The IB affiliation between Odysseia Capital is designed purely to allow Odysseia Capital’s customers to benefit from an extra subscription discount. Odysseia Capital is not liable by any eventual problems or disputes that may arise from the relationship between ACY Securities and its customers.
